    good on the saudis:
Unless the new U.S. administration takes forceful steps to prevent any further suffering and slaughter of Palestinians, the peace process, the U.S.-Saudi relationship and the stability of the region are at risk," said Turki, a former Saudi intelligence chief and former ambassador to the United States and Britain.
About 1,300 Palestinians, many of them civilians, were killed and 5,000 wounded during the 22-day offensive, which ended with a ceasefire Sunday.
along with the worldwide condemnation for the attacks, hopefully the obama admin will take notice and yank israel's leash

Okay, I guess no one in the world remembered that Hamas is the one starting to fire missiles at Israel... And Israel rightfully reacted back, though did not do the operation as planned.

Let's not start this again, you people are starting to sound like a broken record. ( and with you people I mean both pro-Israel and pro-Palestine people, just making sure before I get anti-semite thrown at me)
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...

dont believe he was ever justifying the operation conducted. the motive for conducting an operation was however justified.

but hey we can do the old switcheroo on u mate and ask u about the familes of those israelis that were kidnapped by hezbollah and other islamic groups in the surrounding area? the constant rocket attacks? (israel spends billions building a massive wall and developing anti missile capabilities for a reason.....)

what about those civilians that were catching the bus to work? the last thing they ever did..

we could go on all day going back and forth at each other.

    oh and btw: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/mid...st/7851545.stm

to quote the bits that matter:

A senior European Union official touring war-torn Gaza has blamed the ruling militant movement Hamas for the humanitarian crisis there.
Humanitarian aid chief Louis Michel called the destruction left by Israel's offensive "abominable", but said Hamas bore "overwhelming responsibility".

How funny. Saudi Arabia needs USA as much as USA needs Saudi Arabia. One needs the oil while the other needs the protection.

    Rubbish.

but anyway. GL saudi lads! had they said this to bush i bet he would of come back with a witty comment about how human rights abuses go on in Saudi arabia all the time so wtf should they care that some terrorists and their families have been killed hundreds of miles away.

so many muslim countries that express all this shock and stuff, butnever actually do anything to help the people of palestine :/ i would respect them more at least if they were not so two faced.

Turki was one of the most active princes, I think he fell out after 9/11 of being too close to the Taliban. Its window dressing what he is saying now.

Indeed, indeed, no one wants the Palestinians to have their own state it seems.

Exactly. It benefits the Arab states to have the Palestinian Refugee Camps remain to have a common enemy for their people.

Not saying Israel is in the right, just neither are the Arab states.

The one most right seems to be Jordan, the only nation that allowed the Palestinians to leave the camps and become citizens.
