    Default Family Member Titles

    Hi all,

    In every campaign I've played, family members of my faction (and others as well) occassionally gain replacement/extra surnames, such as: Victor, the Builder, the Butcher, the Exterminator, the Conqueror, etc.

    Well, my question to you, my esteemed colleagues, is if there's first off, any list of every single surname you can get, second, if any are unique to a faction or culture, and third, the requirements (if any) to get them.


    For example, for the second and third questions, is Victor unique to Roman factions, and how many cities must you take (plus any other requirements) to get the surname?

    Look in data\text\export_VnVs.txt. Search for epithet, and you'll find a list of titles. Then match the traits with the relevant entry in data\export_descr_character_traits.txt, and you can find the triggers. A bit of reading and thinking, and you should be able to work things out from there.

    Yep thats how i did it took a wile but now all my family members have cool titles.

    Now, looking at some triggers, what does the chance mean? I was wondering if I could change the chance on natural military skill traits to make all my new family members inherently good generals or politicians or something.

    Also, there seem to be multiple triggers for the same trait, like natural military skill. I assume this is because there is a certain chance of them having natural military skill that improves command +1, and then on top of that, a lesser chance of it giving +2, and even lesser for +3, etc. Which should I edit?
