Actually this happened to me once: I conquered a crusade on Jerusalem as the French, exterminated the population and sent 3 priests and a bishop on a missionary spree, Egypt kept hitting me siege after siege and costing me thousands, and my wars back in my homeland required more financial support. So then weirdly Egypt offered a ceasefire giving me 10k and Acre, now i was really poor on income so I said yes and split up my garrison in Egypt since the population there was at 185% on high taxes, so i dropped it down to normal, moved my general and about 5 units to acre, and moved my now 2 bishops into Acre leaving 2 priests to convert a 70% catholic population. then the next turn Acre's city stats are: Low tax's, 0% Catholics (my bishops had no effect) and 0% public order, yet it was maxed out with public order buildings. The very next turn they rebel take Acre and Egypt calls a Jihad on Jerusalem, came that turn and attacked, it was about 6-1 odds and i came out with a close loss but their goes my position in holy lands i lost about 1500 men in total from both and i sailed away with very weak trops of about 1 surviver for each of the 4 units and -2 generals :|
its like the Egyptians planned this:hmmm:hmm.......

Are you using any mods? I have never seen such cunning from the AI in vanilla.
nope, no mods just got the game for Christmas cause MTW wouldn't work on my new comp and I don't think it was intentional, I just think the 0% Catholic rating and it being a very large city by then made the population to big to manage, and the Jihad probably was called the time I had taken Jerusalem after the crusade. I'm saying it was a huge coincidence.
Is their any mods that make the AI that devious? because I would not have to deal with that kinda AI :| its like diplomacy warfare :O although it could add an interesting twist to it, you will always have to out think your opponent in both diplomacy and warfare then hmm....

Don't think any mod has achieved AI like that, too much of the programming is hard-coded so there is only so much the modders can change. Mods like darth-mod or stainless steel do a good job of increasing the difficulty of the AI though, aswell as implementing other interesting features. Look at the individual mod threads for more information.
People think that the AI is Dumb I agree but I must say that sometimes they do surprise me. I'am presently playing as England. I have Scotland as my vassals and shortly France will be there also. Portugual attacked Carnevon by sea( that is not waht surprised me) but they took my city and left only two units in it.
The thing is when re-took it they had exterminated the city, destroyed all buildings.... I was like WTF they are not (Mongols)... So I was at war with them, France and the Danes. Then Portugual caught me off guard by attacking Caen(castle) wh is the one providing all my units for war. They did the same....
Now that is what I call smart
Agreed I never thought that they would even try that. at that Point Scotland were my vassals I have gaved them Dublin, Everness and they also add Edinburg.
I had Brudges, Anterp(Danes are still trying to take it), Rennes, Angers, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Paris and Rheims.
Portugal only as Lisbon and Pamplona, I felt like they were doing KAMIKAS here
You need to watch the Portugese and Spanish up near Rennes, Angers, and Caen. Whether French or English, the Iberians seem to like to wander in search of opportunity. I am not certain, but I think the same mechanism that drives the Mongols to Antioch or Kiev is at play here also. Have not looked under the hood tough. I like a bit of mystery. Related to the rebellion idea -- it may well be they focus on the political stability of a region and pounce when things look most unstable -- or their presence could indeed be contributing to the instability.

So its like they cordinated a dual attack perfectly I had to withdrw from one of my castles and the other got a heroic victory, but i lossed 2 generals a castle and they also got the french to blockade my Medititeranian ports while they blockade my atlantic ports so I suddenly was bankrupt all in 2 turns :o
