I suggest everyone read and then re-read the opening post of this thread before deciding to make any posts here. I just deleted 41 posts for off topic spam/not following the rules. This is not a chat thread nor is this the place to iron out particulars with each other, that's what pm's are for. Again re-read the opening post, it couldn't be any clearer.

Topic ; I would like to debate against anyone on the subject "Player X was the greatest NFL Quarterback of All Time".
Details; The topic of the NFL can spawn some interesting debates, with the capacity for both emotional and logical arguments and positions that can be defended and attacked from a variety of angles. I propose anyone to name a single player as the "Greatest Quarterback in League History". I will eliminate said player from consideration.
    Position; against whoever you pick
"Every idea is an incitement. It offers itself for belief and if believed it is acted on unless some other belief outweighs it or some failure of energy stifles the movement at its birth. The only difference between the expression of an opinion and an incitement in the narrower sense is the speaker's enthusiasm for the result. Eloquence may set fire to reason." -Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.

Topic: Who would win - Aztecs or Achaemenids?
Details: Which one of these militaries would win an equal numbers battle on an open field, both armies being fully rested and supplied, willing to give battle.
My position: I am going for the Aztecs for a multitude of reasons.

    What's the most expensive thing?

It has to be practical. I mean, no one's going to down 25 billion dollars on a space program to mars.
My best guess is contructing an aircraft carrier, those seem pretty expensive.

Topic: Which country has the better Special forces, UK or USA
Details: Which of these countries has the better trained, and equipped special forces.
My position: I would choose the UK, as i believe the SAS, are more effective and better all round than the US special forces.

Topic title; Did the US do really anything to speed up the ending of World War One
Details; We all know the US jumped in at the tail end of World War One. The US sent some men, but compared to the rest of the nations, it was very little, yet they dare to take claim for victory.
Position; I don't think they did, to be honest. And any US Patriots, come at me bro.

I challenge Total Relism to a debate, because it's funny.

Topic: Abiogenesis (Not evolution) VS Creation

Topic title: Did Japanese Imperialism do more harm or good to Korea?
My Position: Japanese Imperialism did more good than harm in Korea.

Anyone who wishes to debate Japanese colonialism in Korea with me is welcome to do so, however, a strong background in Korean and Japanese history is preferred.

Topic title; Is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic a "little girl's show"?
Details; I'll take anybody on this as long as they're willing to have a legitimate argument. I'd also like to note that this is specifically about Friendship is Magic, so no other generation of MLP is valid in this debate.
Position; I'll be arguing that it is not a "little girl's show".

I know Jom shut down the last MLP argument, however I do not see this as being as obscure as the last one

    Topic: Humanistic V.S. Psychodynamic psychology.
    My position: Humanistic

I've only got a high-school psychology education, but the debate can't be anything worse than the past few ones.

Default Denmark is Better than America

Ok I'd like to try this.

    Topic title:
    Denmark is Better than America
Position: I hold the stance that Denmark is over all a better place to live than the United States of America.

No tricky semantics for this debate.

I'll post; although this is slightly niche, being about League of Legends.
TOPIC: Malzahar vs Brand; who is the better DoT mage. or Cho'Gath vs Shen; who is the better tank.
POSITION: Malzahar for several reasons. Shen for a few pros.

lol, Britain couldn't have won this war themselves or with Europe. America was integral to victory. And you know this.

Let's see.... I hope someone takes the challenge. It's a rather general one:

Topic title: Renewable energies and fossil fuel depletion.

Details: Besides the ever-increasing costs of fossil resources, their scarcity necessitates a global shift in energy supply. People complaining about the high costs of renewables miss the point. Current governmental goals around the globe are insufficient in terms of the role they envision for non-fossil power generation.

    Position: Pro-renewable.

Details: prove with facts why Christianity is to be feared and Why Islam is not to be feared or Prove with facts why Islam is to be feared and why Christianity is not to be feared. (feared means a threat to commit genocide)

Position: Im on the side why we should fear Islam and Why true Christianity should never be feared by anyone.

This is something I feel really strongly about:

Topic title: Traditional Martial Arts vs New Martial Arts and New understandings of the old (New meaning XX century and newer), evolution or degeneration.

Details: Are today's stances on traditional martial arts a fresh look or corruption of today's societies understanding of the world and life? Are the new martial arts just that, Arts, or just clumsy or meaningless fighting?

Position: Against the New understandings and martial arts.
