M2TW: Tournament

I've been thinking...

Now before you say, oh god no, he hasn't been thinking again, let me tell you the thought.

A tournament, to find the greatest battler.
All you need is Medieval 2 Total War, room for installing a few mods and lots of time.

What would happen.
After you have joined, you would be put into a group of 2, 3 or 4. Each battle will have rules, say only 6 units per contestant or no cavalry.
The winner will make it through and the loser will not. After a series of battles, it will draw down to the final two, and the winner will be crowned champion.
They're would be battles of various mods, as well as the actual game.

If your interested, you have until the 9th of Febuary to post your interest.
For this tournament, its M2TW, but this can be done on many games.

To post your interest, simply post "YES" with your username under it.

But how about removing the cavalry restriction to perhaps only one unit at a time, since having cavalry is 76% of most battle strategies itself, please consider but if not than I am still in!

That isn't a rule. It was just to give you an idea. Each battle will have its own set of rules and limits.

This thread wasn't for a hotseat. If you want a mp campaign I would recommend either starting a new thread here for vanilla or go to the Kingdoms mp subforum and there should be at least a few campaigns open or running that you might be able to join.

Otherwise if you are looking for custom mp battles you're in the right thread.

Edit: just wanted to add since most of you are posting in the general discussion I have opened a Tourney and seeking registration already. Please join if you are available that would be excellent to get this going and possibly play some various mods as well.
