    Default Royal pardon dosen't work

    Hi all
I have an issue with the royal pardon script.
When the message "bring the rebel etc..." appears and I select the carachter from the army menu, nothing happens. Is this a known issue or I messing something?

I had this too. The rebel general was in the captital (London in this case) and my King was present though I could never get the pardon rebel event picture sequence to run. It took ages to get the rebel scum to the capital and I could not get any pardon going? What am I do wrong?

    the Reconciliation.
    • Leader inside capital.
    • One subject inside.
    • Dugjon building.
    • (The prision option is a slow prosses.) I personally prefer paying 3000f. to raise loyalty. Then wait 1-2 turns inside the capital with the leader. Then A new trait will appear: Reconciliated to king. This will give back more then the orginal loyalty, and is only going to take 3 turns.
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

My new version of ROYAL PARDON has something now to do with sending rebel generals to fight rebels with a single peasant unit to help. Hint: the peasants can deploy stakes.. Know wot I mean? :O)

Loud and clear, Tokus I think your general will finally start to get the point, if you know what I mean

It is most satisfying when the rebel scumbag gets skewered by those sharp staves... but I digress from this thread... Hopefully I'll get the pardon thingie to work - but when I fufill all the requirments and nothing happens turn after turn I odten wonder if anything's broken. Anyhoo - no worries- I work hard to ensure my up-and-coming King (ie - my Prince) has good traits, especially high chiv'. Good luck on getting the Royal Pardon to work Marseu.
