Look, what he's talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don't want this to work.

I try to give blame and credit to whom it is due and in the correct proportions.

Here is something Obama is going to do that is going to make it harder to own a home. He is going to change bankruptcy law as it pertains to home mortgages. As of now a bankruptcy judge cannot lower the balance of a home mortgage to help settle the bankruptcy unlike consumer debt which he can. (This is part of the reason why a credit card's interest rate is higher than a mortgage.)

Under this rule home mortgage lenders are going to be forced to raise interest rates to reflect the risk of losing principle due. This is going to make it more expensive for every to purchase a home.

If he is going to do what he said he was then I want him to fail. If hes going to do the right things I want him to suceed.

If Obama was going to make it so all the non-tax payers had to go live in Mexico would you want to to suceed? It depends on your point of view. Almost all democrats would have wanted McCain to fail if he went 100% conservation.
