You know I said wait for me to walk the minefield a couple of hours ago? I might not make it back in all honesty. Not only is the distribution method a nightmare, but the content itself seems adamant that it's not going to work. Watch this space.

Just to mention something i've heard.

GFWL seems to create save directories and crap, so you'll need to move saves over to that in order to continue your game with OA Heard a couple people complaining about that they couldn't continue game on Bethesda's forum.

    GFWL is an abomination.

It should be distributed via steam, a tried and tested method.

I guess it's still being uploaded to Xbox Live.

Edit: Never mind it's up but I can't download till Friday due to paycheck issues.

I've been hearing lots of meh things. One guy said he finished it in under 2 hours on a normal play through.

Would you have bought it if it had a better D/L interface/system?

Even without all the distribution hassle, it's a waste of money. It's simply not a good addition to the game.

Well i played through it. Very fun but very short. I like how it feels like a different game (since you're playing a marine) but it feels more FPS than RPG. Kinda like playing a futuristic COD with Fallout 3 interface. Feels a bit weird.

But it's too short. I remember Knights of Nine addon for Oblivion was a long ass quest. It should have been that length. Also i'm a bit sad that they did the whole "simulation" thing. Give us a long quest that takes place in the game world not in a "simulation". I had fun, is it worth the money? Doubt it.

Is there any news about a proper expansion? Something like Shivering Isles?

It was fun. Thanks to some mods, I get to use the cool armors when I travel the Wasteland.

It had a lot of potential, though. But it felt as if Bethesda became lazy developing it. And it's a pity that you don't get to enter the simulation whenever you want after completing it :/

It took away the best thing about F3- wandering around seeing random stuff. It was kinda fun in bits but not worth 10$. For 1/5 the game's price I expect 1/5 of the game.

Very moody. Exciting. To "be back in time" and killing commies....
