Default Medieval II does not save game settings: Fix!

If your game/Video settings reset every time you exit Medieval II, It may be because you altered your Medieval2preference.cfg file (ie; setting up Battle editor.) For the longest time, i was having to redo my resolution and unit size every time i started the game. I found that if i moved my altered Medieval2preference.cfg out of my medieval folder, all settings save as normal after being applied. It is probably an easy fix for most people, but i figured that it might be helpful to someone who is in the same boat.

If anyone knows how to add the settings directly to the .cfg file so that i can still use battle editor, it would be much appreciated. Its probably some script like the (Widescreen=1, or editor = true.)

The easiest way after you your settings to suit you and saved is right-click the file, clickpreferences, click read-only, click okay and it should stay there.
