Yes, what would the point of that building then? Im sure that teutonic knights use them. Feudal and chivalric (ors) knights also.

For the cost/More defense value I never build it as it cost 15 000 to build plus your units costs more to recruit and upkeep

The pointy penciled accountant says it is not needed. The human has an advantage when deploying units on the battlefield if down a bit on tech any ways. This is just a fancy way for the AI to remain bankrupt and thus lash out at the rich human player.

    lol

I would buy the armourer and upgrade the units. Just for the looks and superiority to other faction's troops

advanced plated Chivalric knights... oh men... a nightmare for the enemy... the only thing that instantly kills them is a cannon . besides that it requires you to stab like a 100000 times before one of them dies...

I don't think I could justify spending 15000 on the last level armourer and then 1000's more outfitting my troops.. maybe if I was rich..

Only Italian factions can upgrade some units to advanced plate. Those units are broken lances and men at arms. Gothic knights and lancers already have advanced plate and don't need an extra upgrade.
Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.

    Tosa will be missed.

Armoured swordsmen only have partial plate to begin with. It may be worth investing in full plate, but advanced plate is rarely useful unless you're an Italian faction and want those Men-at-Arms to be as shiny as possible.
