Apparently, they can't handle an Ewok uprising!? :hmmm:

BY the way Zephyrus, do yourself a favour and stop talking about people being Biased, as you yourself are so blatently biased against the empire.

And look, we all know what the Master Chief can do to the Covenant forces, we've seen it with out own eyes.
Now, Darth Vader could defeat Master Chief, so if he can kill him imagine what Vader could do to the covenant compared to what the cheif did.
Then look at the Dark Trooper Mark III, these things would defeat the cheif EASY, as anything he shot at them would barely scratch the armour, and thats the same with the covenant (a Mark III Dark Troopers armour can help protect against Light Sabors too, so plasma swords wont be much help.
So, a Dark Trooper Mark III is Master Chief X10. And so, imagine how much havoc they could wreck upon the covenant?
An ordinary human could kill the Master Chief as well. Simply eject his cryo-napping ass out of the ship he's based in and blow the shuttle to pieces. Now by that logic, an ordinary human, being able to kill MC, that same maniacal, devious little human could also defeat Darth Vader.
Guess how? Betrayal. And massed plasma fire. Darth vader isn't Achilles, he can't stand up to a group of pissed off Elites and hunters and start Ninja'ing the covenant.

For that note, I've never seen the DV dodge a grenade.

And really, thatguy, before you start giving the Dark Trooper Mark III fellatio because of its awsome, super-powerful force armor, etc, etc, lets see how many of them were made, or indeed, USED during the time of the OT and the GE's existance. And please link me to a more detailed article about it because I highly doubt its as invulnerable as a sun crusher.

My reason for opening up this thread is simple enough. I want SW GE fans to get off the teat of george lucas and look at the rather better sci-fi stories being made out there. Its like there's a cult worshipping this guy or something...

And i still want my galaxy crusher. Preferrably to be completed before 2012!

Ya, don't expect me to shed a tear for them. I wanted the Empire to go down fighting against a slowly growing rebellion of discontented worlds united under a Secession coalition, not the killer koala bears of Endor. Family movie, family friendly enemies. WH40K and Halo, by virtue of their maturity and conflict resolutions, albeit in halo's case a bit far fetched, are for mature audiences. Which only reinforces my belief that the GE cannot stand against these later sci fi fantasies.

After HALO 3, the new covenant allied with the UNSC...
Give them some time to rearm and they would build some NOVA bomb's.....
Train some new spartan 2 and 3's....

OR they could try to find an intact HALO and light it.
(still possible after the ark's destruction but manually only.)

And they are all either Sun Crusher this, Palpatine clones that, Dark Trooper there, Super-secret Black sun merc force here. Very few of those books have any linear development or follow a sensible path from the OT to the future. Its whatever George says, goes. Nuke the fridge.

The Yuuzhan Vong series, the Sword of the jedi, Darth Caelius, yes I'm familiar with them. The only books I actually bought were the han silo trilogy, and even then I wasn't really interested in reading about the Ewok's es

Ya, after that supposedly the last male son of han solo turned into a Darth Vaderesque guy who tried to regain the imperial throne by trying to save tenel ka, etc etc. Gets killed by his own sister at the end of it after she becomes the "sword of the jedi"...

The Yuuzhan series was interesting, although the organ grafting thing and the emphasis on biological weapons just seemed so...zergish...me. And the yuuzhan just looked like humans with their muscles placed on the outside.

Dark Horse has been making some good books lately.

Legacy is pretty awesome indeed, although I kind of wish that it was set during the war, rather than after.
