when i start up EB

I get the default vanilla game

the default target for the shortcut is - "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -show_error

what is the correct target so i can play this please?

Use the shortcuts the installer puts in your RTW folder (where you installed EB). Use single player for single player campaing, and Multi for battles. Configuration is for configuring jeje

Maybe you're using Vista? I think there was something about not installing EB under the program files folder.

Well anyway I'm having the same problem running the game on XP, the destination of my EB Play shortcut is:

"C:\Games\Rome Total War - Europa Barbarorum\RomeTW.exe" -show_error

what's the "show error" about?

I'm running the game on the Gold Edition with a clean 1.2 EB version with the recent EB 1.2 fixes.
