    ... either a menu_english file issue (missing the menu-command-items?) or the modfolder lacks a saves-folder?
    But very strange is that some people can save with certain factions, as they say :hmmm:

    Any chance for this exam? Very low, because the established Anthropocentrism destroys the basis of existence.

    I can save normally and want to add that never had a problem with even vanilla.
    Moreover I am using a gold edition so I think they have solved some problems.

    Those loading screens are absolutely gorgeous! You can count yourself lucky having a real artist in the team! Playng the new version right now, works like a charm. The Italiote might be owepowered though, they exterminated the lucani in like 10 turns in my Syrakuse game

    Domitianus, glad that you have no prolems - it's releifing for me to read your report.

    Smeel, thanx on the remark - the artist is cocobongoclubdj. He also made the interface for us and some ship 2D pics. Yes Italiotae are owerpowered, that's due to very unbalanced and unfinished edu that is being reworked right now by me and Aper. After we finish it I'll make a fully public release. Until then please report on any bugs you encounter. Please check when playing Etrusci if they have barbarian settlements - I thought this happened to me once when I attacked them as Poeni. Dunno why, files seem to be okey on the matter but hey - I'm not much of a modder

    I can now confirm that Etruscans have wrong (barbarian) settlements. Will be fixed. Erm, where exactly can I fix that - I forgot...

    Change it to empire_east will make these settlements "etruscan". Delete map.rwm and start a new campaign (btw., extracts above are from a former version, i guess though it's the same now).

    But i wonder if this had perhaps a reason?
    I guess at least, Luciano knew what he did as he coded it that way, maybe it's more historical to have these settlements "barbarian" at the start of the game?
    Or at least make it harder for the Etruscans to keep the order at these border regions ... and ie. provoking the Celts to enter them?

    Gah! Real life is kicking my ass right now, I dunno if I'll be able to balance test or not :cry: Clarify something for me: the combat balance is satisfactory using the current system, right? Units beat and lose to each other as they should? So campaign balance testing should revolve around adjusting unit costs, maintenance, and required building levels, right?
    If that's the case, let me suggest that you highlight some areas of concern in separate threads for each (to make up an example on the fly: Balance: should recruiting hoplites require a blacksmith?) Assign us all the same out of the way faction to play, have us mash end turn 50 times, disable FOW and post a screencap of the campaign map. Make the change outlined in the thread topic and repeat. It doesn't take us testers all that long to do, and you modders get multiple campaign results to compare and draw conclusions from, isolated to that specific change.

    Yes thanx. This will come in useful when we will upload a new patch. Good idea. Current edu is unbalanced not only in campaign but also on the battlemap so new edu is a must. New version being worked on as we speak.

    Gentlemen, I didn't know where to ask this and am sorry about putting it here. I downloaded the newest version of this mod and can't get it to install. I have WinRar but the files from the Rar file will not overwrite my origional Rome files. Have tried several times just will not install. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance. Version 0.72 is absolutely fantastic, one of the best mods I've seen.

    First thank you for your kind words If you enjoyed 0.72 so much then you will find 0.86 much better. Only EDU needs balancing and me and Aper are trying to work on the betterment of it.

    You have to move the file you downloaded with the name “PI v0.86” in the main folder where you have your RTW installed. You should see RomeTW.exe and RomeTW-BI.exe in this main folder. You have to extract the file you downloaded. Do you know how to do it? Just right click on the PI v0.86 file and then “extract here”. The content of the file will be extracted in the main game folder. Say yes when asked to overwrite. If you will still have problems then consider getting the newest version of winrar. Let me know how it goes - good luck
