Look at my loses. Alomost nothing try Real Recruitment/Real Combat/CBUR/BFTB/BGR IV Compilation beta released. Far more balanced game. I tried this battle with Real Recruitment/Real Combat/CBUR/BFTB/BGR IV Compilation beta released in custom battles and they swept me away.

But Greatest of all do not have picture. My full stack vs 2 stacks of Mongols (Real Recruitment/Real Combat/CBUR/BFTB/BGR IV Compilation beta). With this submod you will never win 4 stacks of enemy (if AI do not have only militia spears).

im using that in my screenshot on vh/vh.

Sonny WiFiHr that screenshot you posted is the difficulty on easy? theres no way u can rout over 5000 men with that army unless your general has 10 dread and they are all peasants.

No it was normal 1 star few chi general on VH/VH - SS 6.1 nothing else. I had superior cav (crusaders) and I was playing erly campaign. When I charged in Moorish swordsmen I routed them easy(no casualties on my side) rest you can see. Spears were decimated by my x-bows (they are empty). Last army turned back from me and I charged sword/ skrimish untill mass rout. I was on higher ground. And most important Moors never touched my inf. cav did the all job.

Well, it's not really a "great" victory, but I had an awesome battle a few days back. I was crusading as Denmark, and had to fight two Fatimid armies that were denying me access to my target. Unit quality was about the same for everyone, but they had the numbers, so it looked like it was going to be a tougher battle than usual.

    I was right about that.

The AI was playing really well, constantly exploiting the fact that all of my units were tied to enemy spear/swordmen, but the Fatimids, having more units, could strike at my rear. The two enemy family members kept harassing and cutting down my very limited cavalry, which made flanking impossible. All I could do was order my general around, keeping the shattering morale up. I was slowly losing the battle until a unit of crusader sergeants managed to break through the enemy lines and attack the Fatimid family members, slaughtering most of their horses. I had to chase them around a bit (the cowards!) with my general but eventually I killed both of them. After their death I was able to rout what was left of their troops, but killing the generals took so much time that both factions' armies were devastated. Hardly anyone routed during the battle, everyone fought to the last man.

I don't have the statistics, but here's a screen I took shortly after the enemy routed. On the upper right you can see the percentages - before I started taking prisoners I was the underdog.

That crusade was doomed from the start... I decided to take a boat and arrive early in the holy land, but forgot the 500000+ total manpower of the Fatimids... I took that from the military chart, so yes, they had half a million soldiers at that time.

EDIT: The charts lie, so my numbers are false... still, lots of soldiers.

Is the military chart the number of soldiers? I didn't know that. What is production then?
80 years is simply not enough to enjoy all of the fun in the world, and out of it...

After doublechecking this I stand corrected, the military chart numbers don't seem to represent anything real. I just assumed so since some of the other charts (territorial, financial) had factual numbers.

I don't really know where the production chart is taken from so that's a mystery.

No they are pretty accurate we just don't realise how many troops we have but when you count every unit you should have quite a few, maybe not half a million but alot none the less.

I had a victory just yesterday amazing battle, I was playing my Scotland campaign only around turn 10 and England has come to destroy me, they once had a larger army but no longer. They sent 2100 soldiers (turn 10 so this is quite a few) against Caernavron (947 strong) Was expecting to lose and boy was I mistaken, Caernavron is only a wooden castle so no great towers or gates. I had one unit of highland pikemen mercs and my god are pikemen alot better in this game, I set up my troops so that my archers were on the walls to rain hell on the enemy and once the ladders were up my archers fell back behind my army in the town center. my formation was pikemen in front highlanders behind and spears on the left flank. Then I had my general and 2 border horses waiting on a left street for a flank. The battle started bad I was losing tons of my highlanders but they fought on undaunted then I was able to kill their general, once that happened I charged forward against the remaining 1500 even my archers charged and I sent my cavalry all around the back of the castle to the right flank and hit the enemies right flank. My general pushed through them not even stopping he just kept going and the english ran in terror. I took all of them prisoner ransomed them and now after yet another battle England is left with no more then a half stack on the front to stop my counter attack.

this is like way off topic but I believe that military power is a total or average or calculation of some kind, of victories general's strength number of units, castles and all that crap
