Icon10 Quick Question about Unit Appearance at Certain Distances

I saw a post somewhere about this earlier, but can't seem to find it; anyone know how to change the distance from which the comp. begins to display a lower-quality model or sprite? I'd like to change this to increase performance in massive battles.

"See that? I just split my pants like the incredible Hulk. Brawndo will make you need NEW PANTS! And while you're out getting new pants, you should probably get some new shoes, because your old shoes will be worn out from KICKING EVERYONE'S ASS ALL THE TIME!"

That will be in the modeldb file. (data\unit_model folder)

I believe you can also lower the 'unit model' detail level. As you zoom out the units will become less detailed and blockier but will still look pretty up close.

It's in your preferences file, even if you set the unit detail to highest ingame you'll see it's not in the preferences file. You want to open this file and set unit detail to highest. Draw distance will be longer then.
