Default Senate more agrresive after made playable?

I decided to make them playable to try something different, but then made it unplayable again. after that i started a campaign as carthage and i managed to blitz attack rome because the senate army was in julii territory instead of defending Rome. Then i made a Gaul campaign and attacked Arretium and the odds where clearly in my favour, but then the senate army show up defeating me. So this never happened before, is it supposed to happen? It was cool when i was Gaul, but not when i was Carthage, so if it depends which faction i am so everytime im Carthage(++?) i can attack rome while the senate are in Julii territory, then i want it off again... Also whats the stuff in descr strat about balanced henry and stalin , smith and such?

yeah, but it think they started moving out of Rome and acting like a proper faction is because i made them playable, i know it makes no sence but it seems like it... Do i have to reinstall to fix it, or am i just imagining it?

Just a fluke, sometimes the Senate heads off to Caralis and stands there for no apparent reason
Concerning your last question in the OP, the balanced henry, fortified mao, etc. tags mean very little to nothing and have just as much impact on the game. Just do not change them, lol

Setting SPQR to playable does nothing to the AI behaviour.

LC: I think the tags are more than you think, at least the unit recruitment behaviour ones are. Particularly for Rome, setting it at Caeser makes them spam Triarii, Principes and Onagers, and in EB, they spam Pedites Extroardinarii (heaviest infantry they got), Triarii (next heaviest) and some heavy Samnites. I've seen entire armies made out of those guys. Of course, so may other factors influence AI troops recruitment too (cost, stats, etc.)...
