    Default science project 'the universe'

    Heythere. We need to do a science project around the subject 'the universe' -> We're free to choose our topic. It has to include a powerpoint presentation. Any suggestions? We work in groups, our group consists of four person.
    Personally my knowledge on the subject is very limited, so I'm really eager to learn more and am curiou as to what you might suggest. I hope it will be interesting!

    Since each person will have to talk about 5-10 during the presentation, or total presentation will have to take about 20 - 40 minutes : )

    Gravity. One of the fundemental forces in the universe, most people have a basic understanding of what it does because we're constantly subjected to it's effects; your audience will experiece a "pull" towards the topic you and yours will elaborate on.

    Moreover, whenever fluorescent square motion is required, it may also be employed in conjunction with the drawn reciprocation dingle arm, to reduce sinusoidal depleneration.

    The Sun and it's internal processes are also pretty relevant for the subject (especially if concerning "life", as it simply cannot exist without the stars) and it does also include..... gravity!... black holes, super novas, radiation... There are many possibilities here

    Yes, at the moment we are thinking of 'the stars' as topic -> really vague, and we can turn in many roads on this. Basics, our star (Sun), supernova's, the biggest/famoust of them (Canis Majoris?) etc.
    And we could even involve gravity into it.

    Just keep in mind that it's important to keep a visible thread throughout the project in order to keep the attention of your audience. Each "theme" must be relevant towards each other and the "overall theme" that you choose so you end up creating the bigger picture. The Universe is also a vague description of your subject as it pretty much contains everything and you should narrow it down to something more specific. It's also important that you clarify why you have chosen to narrow it down to that specific topic.

    Leave public school and get yourself a real education.

    I know 'the universe' is a vague theme, narrowing down the topic was the meaning in the first place -> Our teacher wanted to give us some freedom so that everyone was sure to talk about something he/she actually is interested about.
    @Maverick : I'm still in freaking high school, I can't leave or something, I'm a mere 16 years old : )

    He meant you should read books on your own/go to a parochial school. I assume he is funning.

    Anyway, why don't you do it on spacetime and gravity?

    Watch History Channel Universe series, its explained in way's regulars can understand.

    If you going to talk about stars talk about what a star is, how is born, talk about how it lives and how it dies.

    You could start by saying how dust and material condenses and how the proto star is born then from there go to main sequence time and what it is, then continue talking about what happens when hydrogen is exhausted, and then how the star dies.

    There is easily 45 minutes here without going into too much details.

    Pst me if you need help
