Muslim peasents

So everyone knows that Muslim peasants use knives and are weaker than catholic ones and all that but:

Why don't they use their swords they apprantly have? Do they use the knives instead because they aren't skilled enough to even try to use the swords or becasue its too heavy?

Interesting find. My guess would be that CA forgot to take the swords out of the model. They were obviously not meant to be there. Since a single model, with various alterations is used for many units, such problems might occur.

Some of them are also wearing mail, rather extravagant for the cheapest peasants in the game. It looks like they just used a model for another unit instead of making a new peasant model.

yeah I noted that after I posted it some have mail coffs or whatever the name of those are I always forget that word.

dude the answer is obvious. that's a wooden sword in there and the chain is actually just clothes painted in chainmail style to scare the enemy.

I think i found the answer:

This is a unit of Turkish javalinmen. See how they have the same model and wear swords. This unit uses swords in melee and CA have just copied them for use as peasants. sort of lazy.

Even mods use the same models its just a body, why make a new one when 99% of people didn't notice. It is lazy that they didn't remove the sword, it only takes 1 - 10 mins

What the hell elite. Well since the peasants can't be the generals unit, and no its not becuase they are the captains unit. A little modding no how would have told you that
