So I was playing as eygypt for fun, i dont usually play muslim factions. Well early on I took Jerusalem with an army lead by Saladin. A few turns later Richard arrived in the holy land! I knew this would happen so I had been working on makeing a large garrison in Jerusalem lead by Saladin.

Richard camped outside the city for awhile then left. This is odd so I sent spys and assasians to watch him. Well at one point I sent in an assasian and got very lucky, with only a 5% chance of success i assasianated Richard! So I thought I was safe but soon the KoJ sent a large army and attacked.

Heres how it went:

My army:
General=Saladin
1 unit desert archers=58 men
8 units archer milita=58 men each
7 units saracen milita=72 men each
Total=1061 men

Enemy army:
General=Gerard Watkins
5 units squires of tripoli=60 men each
1 unit mounted sergeants=30 men
1 unit turcpoles=30 men
2 units templar sergeants=60 men each
2 units sodeer archers=60 men each
4 units knights of jerusalem=30 men each
marshall of the templars=30 men
constable of jerusalem=60 men
Total 892 men

So the battle started. My enemy came at me with 4 rams, useing 1 with 3 in reserve, 2 ladders and 2 towers. At the start 1 of their towers burned but their remaining tower and ladders reached my walls, with their ram hammering at my gates. The whole time my archers were raining arrows on their heads.

Soon some of my archers were in hand to hand combat on the walls, the rest fireing at whatever they wanted. The enemies ram had broken my gate and my first unit of saracens were right there to defend the gateway. They were quickly pushed back though by the massive number of enemies. So my next unit of saracens took up defending the opening of a road. After awhile they were under heavy pressure so I rushed in the rest of my saracens to aid them in defending the road.

While the battle in the road was takeing my attention my archers had routed almost all of the enemy on the walls. I had them finish of what was left and then they opened fire on the enemy in the road still fighting my saracen hordes. Soon most of my enemy was dead in the streets. The remaining men they had broke and ran. As they were fleeing any archers left that still had ammo fired at their backs. I also sent out Saladin to capture or kill anyone they could.

Thus the battle was over with these results:

This was the greatest battle I have ever had!
