    Default Problems with Castle of Arta

    Ok well im playing as the Venicians and i besieged Arta with a 2000 man army, while they defended with 800, with reinforcements of 1200.

    I sieged the walls etc, but then i realized that their reinforcements were GOING THROUGH THE WALLS into the castle!! what the !?!!

    Then my infantry rushes to their center and i notice THEY ALL RUN THROUGH THE BUILDINGS!!!

    This is crazy.. someone help me to fix this, i took Mystras and Athens before it and it was fine.

    Im using the following mods:

    SS6.1
    SSTC with 1.2 patch + Hotfix with modified export_desc_unit to take out RR/RC
    Crimson Tide 4
    XBAI Battle AI
    Luster's Campaign AI
    BGRIII (Downloaded from his thread, not installed from game)
    Y&Y Full Pack
    Text Overhaul 1.2
    No Faction Borders

    Ok so what the hell is going on? Someone please

    Hmm... Arta... you wouldn't by any chance have a submod that changes the Byzantine settlements from the usual South European ones do you?

    I used to have that bug when using that one and fighting in castles.

    It sounds like the Byzantine settlements bug, with invisible walls. There isn't any help, at the mo, I'm afraid. You could try popping on to the thread in the subforums and doing as Wolfslayer says...

    Well there is a way to make the game use the old South European castle for Byzantines and keep the new city models,textures for the rest.

    open the Staineless Steel/Data/settlements/south european/castles/castle
    and delete the 3 files found in there.

    So all i have to do is delete those 3 files. Okay then..

    I guess it's fine then. I haven't added any specific byzantine changing mods, only what i listed up there. I know for a fact that's what i have because i have a folder that holds all my downloaded mods for M2TW. and that's what is in there.

    anyway.. im going to try taking Constantinople next, we'll see how that turns out.

    I was thinking that, because I read through your list. It might be included in one of the packs you're using, as there's a couple I've never used before.
