Vista fix

I tried repeatedly before to play BC a few months ago. I found the fix back then but, i still could not get it to work, when i opened the attached file on the post and tried to copy it over the existing cfg it said it could not do it. now my question is did i do something wrong and does the 1.5 patch contain this fix?

In Winrar it says that it: with the file destination, cannot creat bc.cfg
Acess denied

for one it shouldnt have to creat the cfg and i also dont know why it says access denied

do you have admin rights on the pc you're playing? also is the bc.cfg my tagged as "read-only" in its properties?

i downloaded directly from the link so it shouldnt be read only, but im not sure if i got admin rights on this, i never really needed them before.

This might not be the place but how would you get admin authority?

Ok i found out why i couldnt change my file, but when i hit the BC icon to launch it sends me to the vanilla M2TW. Im just going to reinstall it now but thx again.

I might be back if this doesnt work

Well I'm not sure if you have the same problem as me, but I'm on Vista too and I cannot extract files directely (you know, with the button "extract to"). I have to manually drag them to my SEGA-map. (or another map)
