UPDATED ATLANTEANS
ok i made these guys (based of SPQR late centurion) and the skins are origional by me (cause i dont know how to work 3dsmax at all) and i just wanted some feed back and help with the lines that appear down their shields when you look from farther away. any feedback for anything would be cool, and i made the officers too!
i made the standard and shields from a minoan vase which had that famous octopus on it.i thought it added a nice touch to the fact that the real atlantis was on therra and was actually the minoans. they really should look more like soldiers from that age. but alas, i was just playing around and came up with these maritime half easterling looking half greco-romanesque looking soldiers. i gave them some nice looking armour though i think!
i thought scale mail was very appropriate.
these are updated so now they dont look like actuall romans but a whole other culture entirely (its the helmets) and now i am very happy with them. however does anyone know whats up with their noses?!?!
