Default Pope not dead, all Catholic cities taken though...

The only remaining catholic factions in my game are 2 stacks of papal states im nnot at war with and some teutons in Lithuania, hiding in the forest, whom I cannot find. The Teutons are so rich, like 150k, since for 70turns+ . they havent spent a single florin.

    A. How do I elimiate Papal States?

    B. How do I find the Teutons and destroy them?

side note, Lithuania still alive, but they're my ally.
I envision a GREEN world! One conquered by Milan, of course.

that's problematic, there should be a way to destroy the pope's country once and for all. Personally i'm not one for popes, i mean, man, they are elected by a bunch of kings... nothing but a political tool, even now, they are nothing. They are not even chosen by god.

There should be a way to kill them off for good if all the cathlic factions are dead...

+rep for me if you agree with me , i might give it right back to you

The only way to remove the pope is to remove the religion neither has any chance of happening both in game or real life.

Well, there isnt a single catholic faction in the game left and the papal states has 2 stacks running around italy with no city. The pope himself is in some forest, hiding and the teutons are in some forest, hiding. I need to destroy teutons, i reckon. How do I do that? How do I search all the forests in Lithuania?

actually, you cant destroy the teutons, they dont have a lose condition, it is very lame, and something that could be easily fixed

It's a bug in M2TW to do with factions set to horde. As far as I know it can't be fixed.

wait, so to defeat pope, destroy all Catholics, but you cant defeat teutons? thats retarded. Might as well just kill these two stacks roaming around Italy.

There might be no catholic faction but there is defonately some catholic people left in the population and removing them will be impossible

Wait, wait, wait. Popes require priests to become cardinals then get elected. Without said priests, no pope, no Papal States, right?

No, there is always going to be a Pope no matter what you do.

If you conquer Rome and all the papal states' territories, the pope (supposedly) will pop up in a random territory of a random catholic faction and I think the faction will give him the region too.

Yes. The Pope Randomly took Rome from me right after I took Rome from Sicily.

Probably, but if you're not Catholic you can't even view the "Pope" panel to see.

I usually have enough spies to pretty much well
    see everything
quite usefull when you know what people around you are doing
I also usually build lots of watch towers so I should realize
    has anyone actually tried this
cause if thre are only muslim fations it would seem illogical for them to give a province to the poe
