I think for Japan we definitely need to think about the holy sites of the Ise Shrine and the Izumo Taisha, both of which have been the holiest places in Japan since ancient times.

Wundai's initial work on the Great Wall, looking fantastic I think you'll agree. I will probably start another thread devoted to its implementation...which is gonna be 'fun':

Big Wild Goose Pagoda at Xi'an (Xianyang on our map), might add the 'Small Wild Goose' pagoda too. These date from the Tang dynasty and are heavily influenced by Indian architectural designs (I think).

Models and textures are beast. The campaign map will definitely be something different from other mods.

And here I was thinking I had to create this thread with old pieces from the old dev forum myself
Thanks Augustus Lucifer and Yelü Dashi

    Nice square pagoda there!

Oh yes and I'm looking forward on doing some Shrines for my favorite asian country, Japan
I still have alot of models from the RNJ Mod, and even if they are for the Sengoku Jidai era. They might still be very useful as a basis for Japanese buildings

Btw nice start of the Team Message Lucifer "The mod is dead" that one really cracked me up.

    Hey Stefaneke,

Good to see you've gotten into the Dev forums
I'm sure Yelü has some more for you

Maybe some of the buildings that had to be made for around the Grand Canal? Yelü?

    My god,

This took me the time of making 5 Pagoda's(thats about 6 hours )
Maybe this humanoid/animal like modeling is just not my thing, and I don't even know if it can be used within the mod
My own fault really I didn't confer this with anyone.

Well I tried making a Stone Lion Model for the strat map, based on the statues on the "Spirit Path to The Gongxian Tombs, Henan Province"

    This was my example:

    This is my model/try/thingie:

LOL, keep the round stuff to me xD. It seems you have more experience in modelling buildings that other stuff. Altough the head is fine .

Wundai - nice attempt with dog spirit thing. Tho I have to agree with Stefan, perhaps its not your forte ?
Stefan, why do you have a go at some of the Song dynasty siege weapons ? I'll start a thread.

So these are all Campaign Map Strat models right?

Is the Moderator Dev planning to model custom battlefield building model designs, or just a simple reskin

I know this Q is too early to ask :hmmm:

Moderator Dev? Referring to me? I don't model, or skin, for that matter.

We plan to re-do all of the battle map models, it just isn't our priority as the longer we put it off the more time KnightErrant and Argantonio have to perfect the world extraction system.
