I started a campaign as England, and right now I have full authority on my King "Roy John the merciful" and I have 62000+ in my treasurey and yet, I just received the trait for him that he inspires civl war. :hmmm:

Now, the lowest loyalty that I have is just one less than divine mandate for every single general character. I really don't get this. I have 100 military points and 43 governor points... ummm... why?

    Same here.

It also happened to me with England and Russia. Green faces everywhere. 62 gov. points 30 mil points . Very good and loyal Governors no any Rebel Govenor and high population satisfaction (also due to good eco and civ buildings and good reputation to other factions no any war !! 5 allies and good trade and high treasury but ... all of the sudden -10 gov. points message and 4 turns later -20 gov. points and civil war...I also don't understand...:hmmm::hmmm:

I believe the trait system makes this happen randomly no matter the situation, makes the game harder.

    Are you excommunicated?
Are your kings unexperienced in battles? If they are commanding a few battles with him can help to easily get away the trait.

Make sure your king is crowned ASAP.

Make sure he has high authority.

If there is another family member with a more legitimate claim to the throne then start killing off the family until he gets it (starting with your king of course).

I don't know all the potential causes for obtaining this trait but observing the above has always kept it away for me.

All the causes will be listed in the 'triggers' section, in the export_descr_traits file I'm presuming. - Should be able to figure it out from there, - if you do could you make a list here? (I'd do it myself but on a different Computer with no access to DLV)
