The name of the mod changed over to Chivalry II with version 3.0. Prior to this it was just the Sicilian Vespers, and only had the late campaign.

Eventually, I will drop the Sicilian Vespers from the main title, as it is the name of one of the sub-campaigns.

Some words about the mod project history: (SV, please correct me if i'm wrong partly in your view)

As of yet, SV himself couldn't loose himself from the name of his first Late era release SV 1.0.

The plan though was always to have a Chivalry II TW called mod based on M2. It was in discussion since the first announcements of M2TW. SV himself surprised us (the old ChivTW team) with his Sicilian Vespers mod release at the end of 2006/start of 2007, just short after the M2 release. But he always had the idea to move it over to a ChivII TW calling project. That started seriously, as i came into his 1-man-show-team in 2007.

Together we developed the basics for this current ChivII TW:SV mod, just after his SV version 2.0 then, the SV dev team was this 2-man-show, with the help of a lot beta-testers in 2007 and one rather short-time dev member: Lorre, and of course the usage of a lot other wonderful contributions via their implemented work.

Since 2008, SV himself works mainly alone again (i only still help with my advice here and there, and moderating a bit due to my short available time and finishing the old ChivTW project). So it is his sole decision to call the mod as he personally likes. And as the 'The Sicilian Vespers' label got already good merits since its first release version SV 1.0 to the version SV 2.5, the SV subtitle remains as of yet, also because it is just known under this name.

The official and sole name of this multi-era project will be someday Chivalry II Total War alone, as SV also considers it above ( i always knew that )
The project makes true, what the original ChivTW didn't reach: Multi-era campaigns (these campaigns have all their own unique title, the Late era stays of course with 'The Sicilian Vespers').
