so they say, so does this mean EBII will the the last chance for a Ancient wargame based on the most uptodate engine?
Ok, unless EBIII is developed???? but that will probably depend on the ETW engine and ....

They would be crazy to kill a popular franchise like Total War
It would be like EA stopping making FIFAs or NBA Live
yeah where did you here this. if anything they would probably remake rome or shogun total war. imo they should make a total war focusing on the greeks and not make it an expansion like alexander.
They will never stop making TWgames! NEVER! Where did you here that crap anyway?![]()

Guys... re-read his post. He said ANCIENT TW game, and sense he included EB I assume he means mods that come with the TW release. (I think he meant no ancient games after ETW because of how ETWs engine may work). I didn't read anything about CA cutting the TW series..
ETW can still have ancient nods, the natives have archers and other units that use animations that could be used in an ancient mod, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility of an EBIII in the future...
EB should wait till the next total war game comes out. It might be a couple years but they are focusing on MED2. Plus if CA does another game on Rome(which i doubt that) or some other time period in any time before gunpowder. EB2 is going to be released maybe really close to an expansion pack of ETW. EB3 should be put on the next total war game. If someone from EB maybe could tell us if they rather wait till the next game or if they rather go to ETW. I'm probably guessing that answer is IDK.
I would rather have them make a modification for Medieval II Total War than worry about making a modification for a game that isn't even out yet. Besides, the team might disperse after this is done or move onto other areas or games. Never can say for sure with volunteer modders that do it for their own enjoyment. As we all know, enjoyment might be another flavour that doesn't involve Total War games at all.
Sorry my bad, the fifth video was last in the series.
I hope SEGA brings in a professional development team to do the next - real time, multiplayer (more than just 2) wargame engine!

I think that the UK team they used this time is very good.
I don't know if you read ETW forums but it's very often situation when someone notices some minor mechanical or historical bug in one of videos... and then a CA person comes and says there's no need to bash for that since video shows something that was already fixed, it's just video that was made long ago and doesn't represent recent fixes.
So they SEEM TO be doing really hard work to polish their game.
Now a crazy idea. How about EB team fixing ETW so it represents 17th century as realistically as EB represented ancient times?
Hi everybody, I'm new so cheers to all.
I'm crossing my fingers as a ancient history and history/geopolitics fan that they take care of the AI.
If wasn't for Xeryx and others M2TW would be boring but not because it's a bad game. For the general public/consumers it's the way it should be.... easy and fast.
but for the hardcore fans... well... fingers still crossed
for totaly moddable AI with tools!!!!!![]()
