Hi folks,
Apparently this has been covered before, but the search function isn't helping me narrow things down...So I apologise for going over this;
When I installed SS 6.0 and the 6.1 patch, I opted to install the Grim Reality (III) submod to add to the realism, but unfortunately, sieging cities for a number of turns began to get annoying when all my troops were starving and their morale was on it's arse.
I ran the 6.1 patch again, and opted to remove Grim Reality (Although it says Grim Reality II?) in the vain hope that my game would be affected, but still compatable.
Well it seemed to work; my game plays fine and there's no more mention of the war council, zeal, or supply lines - Great!
Nope; I built some large barracks before removing the patch, and I've build some since removing the patch, but no matter how many turns pass, all my Sergeant Spearmen, Men-At-Arms, Longbowmen are still 'Available In: X Turns'... :hmmm:
Further to this, palisades hold 2 free upkeep units (correct), but now town walls also only hold 2 free upkeep units instead of 3? Is this always the case or have I screwed up my game?
If so, is there anyway to rectify these two issues? Preferably without starting a new game as it's going so well!
If not, I'll reinstall SS completely but not check to install Grim Reality III (Do you need to remove Grim Reality II when patching if you don't want it at all?)
Thanks for reading, and thanks for your help!
- Heskey
