    Okay, I can confirm the patch works and the 12TPY is functioning, but it needs to be manually-activated when continuing a saved game by clicking on Pella.

    Do you have to reinstall Megas Alexandros? or is the fixed files in the hot fix?

    No, no need to reinstall, just download the .RAR file, and extract into the Rome-Total War/Alexander/MA folder. NOT into rome-total war, or data, or alexander. Make sure it is the MA folder.

    Hi Roman Man 3,

    Quick question:

    You said that there are several factions.

    My problem is is that only Macedon is playable for the Grand Campaign and
    only 4: Macedon, India, Persia, and Dahae (Which reads as Gaul in the custom battles) show up!

    Any insights please?

    Well, this version only uses what units were in vanilla Alexander, so the only unique unit rosters are macedon, india, persia, and dahae (which share units with the rest of barbarians).


    And concerning only Macedon as playable, we did this because the AI is not competent enough to pull off an Alexander, only a human is.

    their was a thing were you could moddify the descr_strait files and be playable as any fraction but it doesnt seem to work anymore any insight in to this

    Ok so i have a question, i dl the installer, then install it into wat folder? the rome total war folder? or the alexander folder? I keep getting the stupid error message every time i try to start the game. I have no idea what folder this thing should go into.

    EDIT: OK i see u aded the custom battles in the patch. But can u bring back the historical battles? It was the coolest thing in vanilla alexander, and in MA there is a chance to become even cooler

    Just a question, someone can say to me wath is the version of the game (1.0?) and the version of the patch (1.1?)?

    By game do you mean mod? The mod I guess would be 1.0, and the patch is 1.1, although technically it's still an open beta at this point, so it would be better off calling it version 0.9 and 0.9a for the patch.
