AI and cheats

I don't know if this was a Stainless Steel specific change (it didn't seem to occur in my vanilla game) but -

When I use the money cheat, the AI gets the money as well right? How do I make it so they don't?

It can't be as simple as that!

The AI will only get money if you use the cheat to give money to an AI faction.

The AI gets money every turn in SS (if it's broke), maybe that's what you've noticed?

Ah...no wonder how the scots are still spamming stacks even though I've blockaded all their ports...

Anyway to turn this off?

If you do that then you won't have anything to fight. The AI needs this money to provide you with decent opposition because it is just an AI and can't make the billions of calculations that your brain can. Turning it off gimps the AI badly.

AI also gets extra population growth so it can keep up with human player. I think it's bigger advantage than giving it cash itself since their castles grow much faster than yours if you forget to place there high chivalry generals...

And you can turn the money-script off quite easily :-)

In the folder with descr_strat there is i file called descr_script (or something like that). This file is neatly organized in chapters. Just delete the money-scripts and anything else you don't like. This will also cut down on turn-times I think.

Do please make a backup first though!
