    Default Reinstalling

I know it is recommended to uninstall everything before reinstalling SS, but I wonder, would something horrible happen if I just rename (or cut) the SS folder and then reinstall SS? I just went through reinstalling M2TW-Kingdoms-SS twice and don't want to do it again.

why did you have to do it twice?

what I did before was just install SS again, without even deleting the old ones. didnt help, because the problem was I accidentally deleted the kngdoms.exe(idiot me), but it didnt cause a problem when I reinstalled it and installed part 1 twice(though it was part 2...)still works fine.
    Men plan.

Doing that will cause no problems. I currently have about 8 copies of SS on my hard drive...all with different submods etc installed on them

Thanks, I want to do something similar to Clivus- have a clean SS 6.1, a submodded one (perhaps more than one) , and a 6.2.

I had to reinstall twice because after doing it once, nothing worked... Vanilla, Kingdoms, SS etc. This was after everything including some submods, and I thought I had goofed somewhere. In the second reinstall I realized that the problem was I hadn't rebooted after installing Kingdoms
