    Default Potential Reformator bug?I

I think there maybe a bug with Potential Reformator leading to the Marian Reforms..

    Basically it seems :

the moment a FM with 'Potentiasl Reformator' becomes FL it stops anybody else from gaining this trait...

EVEN IF THAT FL DIES BEFORE 172bc...

So you end up with FMs who meet the requirements but don't get the 'Potential Reformator' trait IF a Faction Leader has had it previously.

    Can anyone confirm/deny this?

(sorry about the shouting but was going nowhere asking about this on main forum)

I'm not sure many people are quite as far as you are, you may have to wait a week for me to find out. Sounds reasonable what you are saying though, You may have to force the reform... I think its possible.

To make matters worse I got to 91 provinces in 170bc - 167bc rolls around and still no Marian Reforms...

In the name of Research I had to go back to 193bc (before FL got Potential Reformator trait) and arranged for him to have an accident - will have lazy optimates ruling Rome until I see whether the guys who should have got Potential Reformator last time get it this time...

OK its now 182bc after the rollback - and lo and behold a character who previously didn't get Potential Reformator (despite meeting the criteria) got it the moment he was eligable.

There indeed appears to be a bug with the 'Marian Control' trait : since it only checks if a 'Potential Reformator' or 'Reformator' is FL but NOT the date.

So once the Romani FL has the 'Potential Reformator' Trait no other FMs can get it (which makes sense) BUT if he dies before 172bc that means no Marian Reforms and this seems to be affecting the 90 province method as well.

Maybe adding a 'year < 173bc' type trigger to Marian Control would solve this?

this could explain, why i get marian reform only by conquer 90 regions. and maybe the bug ist bigger than that, because the augustus reform is buggy too, the trait/character didnīt work well..
