    Default What´s up with command???

What does command do?? Adds morale, attack, deffense, or the three of them??

And how does stuff like "+1 Command when Comanding Infantry" and "[the same stuff] Cavalry"?? Does only that unit class get a command bonus???

    I dont understand. Anyone??
You just wasted 4 seconds of your life reading this sentence. You'll read it again because it was so funny and waste another 4. And since you read that sentence, some more disappeared, count this sentence and it's 'nother couple. Good job time waster!

more attack. I think it helps their morale. They rout less often.

When the general is near his men, the command helps boost his troops' morale, like chivalry.

And +1 command when commanding infantry means that when the general has infantry in his army, he gets an extra command star. So say you have a 5-star general with the Veteran Soldier ancillary. If you have any foot troops, he is now a 6-star general.
Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

the higher the chivalry the higher your men's morale. the higher the dread, the lower the enemy's morale. high dread + gunpowder = massarout

wow thx! i tought u needed to have an army of full infantry only to get the infantry bonus! (but that would be a bit unlogical because the general himself is a mounted unit... ) + rep for you me hearty

no i doubt. with a 10 star commander in your case peasants would have had 11 attack and 11 defence... then their stronger/equally strong as spearmen militia

and spearmen militia would get dismounted knight strenght

And then dismounted knights would be...ridiculous

Surely command stars do more then just raise morale. Though to be fair, I haven't seemed to noticed a huge difference with crappy generals and awesome ones. I guess command stars could have more of an impact on the outcome of auto resolved battles?

from what i've seen, troops under a low command general tend to respond in the battlefield rather sluggishly, while those under a high command general tends to react and reform faster... i don't know if it's my eyes playing tricks on me, but that's what seems to happen. High command = more respect hence obeys orders better?

yeah i have noticed the same thing a few times with a low level general.
but the chiv more morale and dread lowers the enemy morale goes with this also.

As far as I know, the only thing command does is win your auto-battles. Didn't know it had other use.

No try a battle with different generals and you'll see a huuuuuuuuuuuuge difference in morale for one.

maybe it adds the trained or higher trait to units with a good enough general?

    yeah there's clearly a different between a 7-10 dread/chivalry general and a general/captain with nothing.

played the mongols couple days back. men that general (10 dread) only had to LOOK at the enemy and they would rout in terror

Morale bonus, and an influence on auto-resolving. I think RTW brought attack and defence bonuses with each star however.
