    Hi,

If i am correct Stainless Steel takes a lot more system ressources than vanilla.

I also think, that it is most important to know the type of your CPU and the speed of your memory. Maybe it would help to know both.

I run it on a Intel E8400 dual-core (3Ghz) and 2GB DDR-800 and it still takes around 30 seconds to end a turn. Perhaps that will help to compare.

I cannot give you any advice though, whether you can shorten the time between turns or not.

As far as I know theres nothing you can do, I have the Intel i7 920 and the turns still take me quite a bit of time, 40-50 seconds or so.. My suggestion, read a book- maybe you have a laptop? you can scroll.. hell even get some quickie chores done and such.. make yourself productive

Its mainly from the campaign script and the city and castle traits I have found. I re-did mine and I am around 10-15 seconds per turn. I'm on a Amd dual with 2 mb

turn changing is long but i would rather have more turns no matter how slow.

Leave it to the modder to perfect the works of the paid developers for no profit at all.

What type of CPU do you have and what kind of RAM?
It could be your RAM if you have a lot of things running in the background. Try closing everything unnecessary and see if that helps at all.

At present I am running 6.2 RC3, with sub mods Crimson Tide and Burning Man only. The end of turn takes 15-20 secs. My PC 2.8GHZ processor, 2gb RAM and 512mb HD3850.
On 6.1 it took 60-90 secs, but include BGR3 and RR, so it must be these that slow the turn time

Stainless steel takes a lot of resources. I usually get something to eat while waiting the turn to end.
