Replace Dismounted Knights Templar model ?

Hello !
I've a question: Is it possible to replace the Dismounted Knights Templar & Hospitallers models with the models from this mod http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ounted+tripoli ?

Ok it has been a while since I've played a western faction, but what exactly is different between those models and the dismounted ones in SS?

the dismounted order knights are copies of dismounted feudal knights.

Which means they dont have the long surcoats that mounted order knights have, and their shields arent as tall either, but are simple heather shields. Helmets are different too.

Ah ok. I dont think I've played a western faction since my very first M2TW campaign with England

Anyway to get those models in the game, unzip those files into any directory (but not SS!). Then copy in the model and texture files into the correct folders in the Stainless_Steel\data\unit_models\_Units directory.

Then open the modeldb file that you just downloaded and open the modeldb file for SS (in data\unit_models. Then it's just a matter of finding the entries for the dismounted hospitallier and templar units in both files and copying the entries from the new file and overwriting the ones in SS.

Oh and make sure you take backup copies before you do anything....just in case

The problem is that the models' name from the mod are for example "Dismounted_Knights_Templar" but I don't know the models' name from the Dismounted Knights Templar of Stainless Steel !

Find their entries in the EDU. The dictionary line in each entry is the name of their corresponding entry in the SS modeldb

There is a Templar mini-mod for SS 6.1 believe, try checking it out, there are some really nice unit models
