6.4 was actually going to be the last version

But LT discovered something that made the superpowerfix thing much better, that's why he made an exception and released 7.0

So unless something astonoushing (sp?), amazing is found, there won't be a next SPQR TW

So guys, finish your campaign this time

Well that is the great part about it - we do not want to add things and features every day since we love the game as it is. No need for 7.1, I dont really know what we might be missing

Well, maybe get a wishlist thread going, and maybe there are some good ideas popping up.
I just reflected on one thing today, and it is the lack of mines on Sardinia.

The mining industry of the Romans was not limited to the basin of the Iglesiente, in fact they knew and definitely exploited rich silver ore bodies of Sarrabus, the importance of which the geograph Solinus was referring to when he wrote: "India ebore, argento Sardinia, Attica melle" ("India is famous for ivory, Sardinia for silver and Attic for honey").

Not that it is needed for gameplay, but would be a nice touch if a new version is ever compiled

You know, new versions...since no one will most likely ever finish any version, do you want, after like few months of playing, to have new version and start it all over again? Whomever wants that is simply crazy! First finish this and then we can talk about new one

hmm..maybe we can have another version but with save compatibility so we can continue our previous save from previous version of SPQR...well ,just my idea..

another one ,does it possible if we can have a feature in SPQR to allow us to just upgrade existing republican army into imperial army without disbanding or creating new unit...?

and ,its kind a cool thing if we can slave ,release or execute the captured enemy (we can have it in medieval 2 total war)..

The first thing is doable, I can provide you with link for that, BUT, Lt considers it a cheating and I agree. Although it is hard to say whether Imperials are just Republicans with new weapons and armor, or completely new sort of troops that requires training from scratch. Hard to say Very much depends on point of view.

About the 2nd feature I am not sure, but I think that is it possible only in MTW2

    thanks czePowerslave
honestly ,u guys in SPQR forum is more friendly than the Roma Surrectum forum which it takes a days for them to reply my post...but in here ,i can read a reply in the same day i post a topic...

Previously ,i play SPQR in H/M setting ,which is very difficult to survive..now i play in M/M setting and follow almost of the houserule ,and found that playing in M/M is enough for us to have a fair challenge..been playing in M/M ,i can rest my legions within 3-4 turns before being attack again..and my denari also keep rolling and enough to support the army...

On the saved game thing, you can try but there is no way to ensure your saved game wont crash later on in SPQR 7.0 even if it seems like you are wining.

Also you LOSE alot of the features of 7.0 if you use an old 6.4 saved game.

Rather start a new campaign, well maybe in like February when time is plenty, why not play 6.4 and 7.0 at the same time

Try PMエing Hesus de Bodemloze, I think he has the link somewhere. But I wonder, why not 7.0?
