What did you change, add, and/or delete since the last Medieval2 install? Check your disc for scratches, dirt, etc?

Well the reason I re insalled it was because I had unpacked the game before and it stoped working so I uninstalled the hole game and everytime I try to reinstall it stops at the DP 0 and says error. Also is it because I have Vista.

Did you read the whole sticky thread at the top of this forum on "Total War and Vista"?

Everybody has a different look to their computer as far as programs installed-even vista users. It gives you many things to look for. Also follow this down tp post #7 http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=217386 and follow the instructions.

That happened to me once. All you need to do if reformat your hard drive. Many people get this problem and that's the one and only answer.

Court of Lasr Resort only. 99.9% not the problem.

Disable the UAC, and run as administrator. I'm running Win 7 64bit.

I've disabled UAC and still have the same problem. There are no scratches on the disk and the options suggested with Sega customer support havent helped either.

Most likely going to have to pick up another copy of the game.

Can you read the contents of the disc in Computer? If you can, post a pic of its contents.

Are you using a Blu-Ray player?
The disc contents looks good to me.
    Maybe try this, too. http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic...dieval-II-Rome
