Along with LOTR:TW, Arthurian:TW, RTR, NTW2, Zhangou:TW and the Greco-Persian Wars, the Fourth Age Total War has been featured in the relatively new UK magazine, Total PCGaming.
FATW has a screenshot on the lower left of the plastic seal of the mag representing the mods of the Mod Report section. It is an image of Trolls whih is repeated in the magazine itself. FATW, NTW2, RTR and LOTR:TW have a little larger articles than the other mods, but all are relatively small - being compressed into two pages for all 7.
The second image featured in the FATW slot is of the Guards of the King's House (a unit of Rohan). The text is short, simply stating the Team's objective to carry on Tolkien's "The New Shadow", and finishing with "this is a superb alternative to the many Tolkienian mods out there that admirably bridge the fantasy and historical realms of strategy games".
In addition, Star Wars: Total War is featured on the CD (none of the above are). This is somewhat perplexing as it is not featured in the magazine itself and the mod, from what I know, is far from complete and in beta...(?) But kudos to them for inclusion!
Gods & Fighting Men is briefly listed as an extension to Arthurian TW.
URLs are included for all the mods.
See Mod Report section ("The Essential Rome: Total War"), on p 72-73 of the magazine.
Do not ask for scans. It is illegal (and my scanner is broken anyway!). Thank you.
EDIT: Magazine should be available from WH Smiths but tends to sell out quick from my experience (is now doing better than PCZone in terms of sales!). This issue came out Dec 24th and so is still current as of the writing of this post).
