    Default Favorite enemy general death?

Just had to post this, just happened.

I was using two culverin units to bombard the enemy gatehouse towers from max range (they had ballista towers). On my very first shot from one of the cannons, the ball flew right by the towers, flew through the ENTIRE "HUGE" size city and landed directly on the enemy general in the town square, killing him and only him. Couldn't fricken believe it.

Whats the best way you have ever killed an enemy general? Hoping this has happened to someone else as well.

Was fight Timurids earlier and they had some elephants which ran into a 2 unit deep spear wall with a volley of geonese crossbowmen bolts before they hit my wall, they ran amok almost straight away and trampled their best general. Pure classic video

why do we only get the "disband unit" option?!
there should be something like this if they shoot their own general

Yer. The very first man of the enemy army that fell was the general. It was the William Wallace-band (lots and lots of infantry) so I recruited a lot of light cavalry. I swarmed him on the campaign map, so there were about 14 units of light cavalry spawning on the flanks and behind them. Since AI tends to deploy generals behind the lines, and I happened to have some cavalry there which charged them, he fell.

An other nice one was when the enemy general was killed by my oil.

Bridge battle, the general goes across with army, enemy catapults go short, kills their general, a wave of flaming arrows sends them to rout.

It's not the Best because it was my own but I was like WTF

So He was around 30 in my English campaign, He add great stats I had conquered the French all of the Iberian Peninsule with him (so French Scotland, Spain and Portugal Dead, Destroyed.) I must insist to say that this was before Patch 1.2. My general had full Piety, then after my the AI turns finished boom I got a pop up event saying that an inquisiotrs had kill my general I was like WTF he had full piety, my best general died at 30. After getting my emotions back I found that funny but frustatrting at the same time.... Werid that Milan took me that army and also two of my settlements after that

In Stainless Steel 6.1 in the Late Campaign as the Golden Horde. It's nothing special but i've knocked a few holes in a Kwarezmian settlement and then I order my trebuchets to target a spear militia in the gap. So, i'm watching them noticing all the shots missing when the little death scene starts and their general gets fried by my flaming rocks of doom. That made the battle a whole much easier since the units have insane amounts of morale.

I sent my maddest family member to a suicide mission and sieged Halych. The crazy enemy general was the first one to attack my mad family member on the sally battle and killed by the guards of my general. At last, i got rid of the mad family member and killed the enemy general.

Most of my infantry were dead or occupied, cavalry elsewhere. The enemy's bodyguard charges towards my single remaining Grand Bombard at full tilt with lances leveled, screeching like demons. They are now about five yards from the cannon. All of a sudden, it goes off. The enemy general is hit in the face, five other men die, and the rest rout. So glorious....

    loool

"okey men, they have forgot to defend their artillery! let's kill the crew!"

    "huh why is it turning???"
    "oh cra..." *BOOOM*!!!!!!!

you know what funny was. one time i send a general to intentionally die a battle (he sucked) and i hired some cheap balcan archers to check them out in the field. the rebels had 700 soldiers (normal unit sizes) and i had just under 100 (60 archers and a bunch of bodyguards)

then i won the battle lol
what happened is the whole rebel army besides 1 unit was chasing my archers and their only cavalry got killed by my bodyguard at the townsquare! and then it only a matter of time.... 3.2.1. Close Victory!

LOL He must've went flying off his mount. Would've been neat to watch him get skewered by a ballistae.
