A 16 man mafia game


The Blackadders have finally had enough with all this rubbish of being subservient to fools and halfwits and have decided to get rid of everyone who has ever done something to displease them. Using the modern Blackadders time machine they have gathered up everyone into Blackadder Manor. The doors of the manor are locked. With this Baldrick (the smart one) gets up and says "I have a cunning plan.We must find the Blackadders and kill them all" However this will be harder then they think for the Blackadders are all disguised. Let the game begin.

Standard Rules

No revealing mod pms
No lurking or you will be WOG
Days last 3 days and night time is 24 hours
Person with highest number of lynch votes at the end of voting period is lynched no absolute majority is needed
Role Playing as character is prefered but not needed.
Some players will have false indenities.
No editing of posts
Vote must be in BOLD
Awards will be given at the end of the game for best role play etc

So just to clarify, the Blackadders are the Mafia trying to kill all the people who displease them, and the people who displease them are the Townies who are trying to get rid of the Blackadders before they themselves are all killed?

1. Yes, the Townies do now know who the Blackadders (Mafia) are. If they did, there wouldn't be much point in the game
2. Everyone votes to kill someone, but not in a poll. You're allowed to abstain from voting if you want
3. A narrator? I'm not sure what you mean
4. A lurker would be someone who is constantly inactive, yet comes in once in a while e.g. once per week or something, just to vote for someone, and not contribute any discussion.

I'm guessing you meant not instead of now? Thanks for the answers, by narrator I meant the person who assigns people their roles as blackadders etc.

First of all ignore andres, you don't need a mafia veteran messing with your head

To re-alliterate

Basically the blackadders are the mafia i think, non-mafia obviously dont know who they are so we have to attempt to trap them with disscussion and clues.

On each day phase we all vote against someone in this fashion
vote: ---name---(persons name)
and its always good to give a sensible reason as to why you vote for them, or you will be seen suspiciously.

The storyteller is the game host, in this case captain blackadder so the the nearest thing to a narrator is him, he tells us what phase it is and made the games mechanics, so he will guide you through this game and tell you the results after every day and night phase.

And as Xavier said, lurkers rarely post and are very annoying as it stagnates discussion, lurkers may also be kicked out of a game, so try to post at least once a day, or whenever you can.
