none of the natives do, it's a frustrating design that CA implemented so spain would last longer

It's also a bummer that without using cheats you can't conquer the whole map as any native tribe, but if you do use cheats and do conquer it you get a final congratulating cinematic.

Is there any mod that allows for natives to build boats? Or perhaps one that connects the land on the southern tip of tequesta(florida) to cuba?

the cheats list is somewhere in the main discussion pages, but here it is to save some time
open the console by typing "`" on US keyboards
then move your cursor to where you want the army to go
then type "show_cursorstat" and you will receive a set of coordinates
then type "move_character "General Name" Coordinates"
all of these are without the outside quotes

In Expanded Americas mod Apaches can build boats and take over Europe, Africa, etc. They are in the grand campaign. I am enjoying my first Apache campaign on this mod. Check it out scrizzle.
