Where are the Teutons?

They appeared near Lithuania a long time ago. 5 turns ago, they finally took over a city of Lithuania, next turn, they were removed from the city. Now they are "The Richest Faction", have a turn for themselves, but i toggled fog of war and they have no stacks and no cities. wtf?

Are there hordes in this game?

Thought that was BI-only. If I, as, say, Byzantines, lose all my cities. do I turn into a Horde?

Yes hordes are in M2TW. In vanilla M2TW, only the Mongols and Timurids were horde factions. But no you wont turn into a horde in SS unless you're playing a faction set to horde. Seeing as you said that the Teutonic Order appeared near Lithuania, I'll assume you are playing an early campaign. In this campaign, The Teutonic Order will emerge during the campaign as a horde until they conquer a region and settle down. If you cant see them on the map, their hording stacks will be lying in ambush in one of the numerous northern forests

I know it's only been 5 turns but there is also a possibility they've been destroyed. Hording factions seem to have some kind of bug where their destruction doesn't register as such.

Im playing in the late era and i personally took all the Teutons land and defeated their hochmeister and heir in the final epic battle and they are still alive :hmmm:

Indeed, do a bit of research and you will know they still exist today, albeit changed.
