    Default wooo hard

I've started playing in "general cam" - I had a battle against some invading gauls it was really hard to get a handle of the flanking - I have not tried with another tribune in the army but can you swap between tribunes in command of different flanks when in general cam?

I sent some principes to flank and got distracted only to look back and see them mysteriously sprinting off into the distance. Obviously I must have clicked there due to the perspective/angle etc

The moment the gauls broke and routed was awesome to see at ground level.

General cam does sound like a lot of fun. I've been meaning to try that.

The general cam is a lot of fun indeed. Though it gets really hard when fighting on deep forest battlefields like in germania or brittania...

Considering giving command of parts of the army to the AI and taking charge of those groups back when I literally run over there I am scared about what the AI might do though... forest is a nighmare - I have lost troops chasing routing enemies too far to find some are not routing - or are arriving late.

The next step of course is to remove the map (I hate seige battles anyway - I think that's the only thing Medieval 2 has that's better than RTW - the seige bettles but even those get pretty tiresome quickly).

I've never really played in general cam mode, so I have a question. Let's say you have two family members in your army (so one head general and one other guy). Can you switch your view of the battlefield between the two of them, or are you stuck only with your main general?
Birthdays are healthy for you. Statistics show that those who have more of them live longer.

hmm... I never tried any "shortcuts" while in generals cam mode. But I guess it's limited to the leading general of your army.

Correct. My proposed solution is to use the normal camera and press the "Delete" key with my generals selected to pop accross to different flanks if (and only if IIF ) there is more than one family member. Not played much lately so have not tested but "Delete" should lock you into "follow mode" on the unit you have selected.
