please help im new to rome but i picked brutii and i own a huge empire but i attacked egypt and their chariots own all my cav then finish my inf enione with beter exp at this game plz help

if you have a huge empire, take a couple ships and send a couple of stacks around their frontiers to their homelands.

Egyptians are fairly easy to beat provided they haven't stretched as far as Constantinople.

If you have a strong navy, try and blockade all their ports, most of their wealth comes through trade, if you've already taken it, use Carthage as your main base in attacking Cairo, do this as quickly as possible, and don't progress any further, keep a large army here to prevent rebellion, and an army near the border.

If they have Asia Minor already, and you have Greece/Macedon and Constantinople, just play defensively and their economy will collapse leading to rebellion etc.

When properly co-ordinated, they're quite easy to beat.

They always caught me off-guard just after I'd conquered Carthage + Numidia and as the other Roman Factions turned against me. It was disastrous, but as soon as I had all of Italy, the fate of the game was firmly in my hands.

thank you all for the help i own most of asia minor suprizingly egypt only concored selucids but stoped so i owned pontus and i attacked them then they started goig haywire sending 5 stacks at me wen i atacked them with only 3 but ill take your adivce thank once more

well heres how its goig wright now thats for the help my armies are like 1/3 skirmishers now and im owning the stupid chariots

1 more prob thou egyptian phearos guard are suicidal or sumtin never reatreat does this happen to you guys or sumtin

or is sumtin wrong with my game

o and phearos archers are even worse

They are both elite units, thus they do not rout as easily.
Just hit them with cavalry, and the pharoahs's guards from the flanks.

I am playing as Egyptians and I want to kill Brutii because they have attacked me. I guess the original poster gave me an idea of using Chariots . Scippii is bringing 4 full stacks around my corner so I might as well get Chariots and destroy them. I have upto Greece in control firmly, I just need to attack brutii from Western area.

Sorry for intruppting there however since I saw the Egyptian thread I thought I'd add my 2cents

I'd love to hear what happend with your experience hanibel.

i wish my game was goig the way it was yours scipii are the worst roman allies ever they havent even got off sicily yet ! and joulli anre geting owned by britania { gues they are having a chariot prob to hehe }
i have the game on easy { since im kinda super nub =] }
but im guesing that makes tha game easy for the other factions too lol
and since egypt rakes in more doug each turn than i can get in 3 its kinda dificult

for every 1 stack i make egypt makes 3 so im hoping for a good fight ill tell you guys how it goes o and thanks for the post again

omg just make legionnaires and autoresolve. if you hate auto resolving then get post marian roman infantry. they can be used against almost everything in the game except elephants.

It definitely will, especially in city and bridge battles
Just do not get them outflanked or anything
