So from what I read, attacking another faction usually ruins one's reputation and I remember the advice being to simply take a few invasions in on your land first and then retaliate once the aggressor's rep goes down.
What about the sea? It doesn't really belong to either faction - would navy attacks lower one's rep as well? I'm playing Moors and Algiers keeps getting invaded by Sicily. I'd really like to build a large fleet and just sink all the incomers. What about blockading ports and such?
Also, what is one expected to do in an alliance? Simply never to attack that faction? Or does one need to send in reinforcements and declare war on ally's enemies (to keep/increase one's rep)?
And any hints on good ways to boost one's rep?
