Hello

When i play the 5.74 mod my men spread out on the map when i wan't them to charge, it is soooo anoying, how do i prevent this???

It's been dubbed the "cavalry spread" and if you just spend some times on various threads, you will see several hot and heavy conversations about this. There is a way to remove it, but I don't have the time to hunt around and find the link. It is not a bug, but a feature, albeit one that a lot of folks don't like. On the other hand, many do like the cavalry spread.

Regardless, welcome to DLV! Enjoy your experience with this mod as it is like nothing else you've ever played.

If cavalry spread alone is enough to "destroy your lust for DLV", then I can only say that it must not be "lust", but instead a mere infatuation.

When you've learned how to use and defend against cav spread the game is a lot more fun than without it. I would personally like it to be toned down a little but getting rid of it completely will make the game suffer, for one thing you will have to rebalance cav charges and the simple way of doing that is playing with the mass of every single unit until you get it just right. Not simple, in other words.

There is currently no way to fix cav spread without wrecking the game balance as I see it.
