Three Simple Questions

I am amazed and impressed by all of the Total War series but have never even tried multiplayer. I would appreciate it if someone could answer 3 simple questions:

1 - Can you use a local LAN to play a multiplayer battle?

2 - If so - do you need two seperate versions of the game?

3 - Can two players team up to play against an AI opponent?

1. Yes.

2. Load it up on One Computer, then give the other guy the disk when you've got the game running. Works for me.

3. You should be able to set teams so AI is one side and you are on the other.
