To everybody still checking this forum and is not tired of waiting for Hegemonia:

I recently had a serious crash of my main HD which caused, amongst other things, the loss of every file that was RTW-related from my system. This includes Heg. I do have extra backups, but they are 2 months old, which means I'll need another 2 months of solid work to bring the mod back where it was 10 days ago. However exam period is starting very soon and I have neither the time nor the energy to work on Heg until it's over.

I want to stress that the mod is not dead and it will not be abandoned unless something unexpected happens. But for the time being it is too inactive to deserve a forum here, so it will soon be moved to the Morgue temporarily, until I pick it up again, as is the rule with all inactive mods. When the rough time of exams is over, I'll get back to working on it and when enough work has been done to warrant its return, the mod forum will return here.

I hope you understand the situation. Feel free to comment, but please be reasonable.

Heg is a part of TWC folklore, it's a tradition, a Greek tragedy, of sorts, which has been kept alive mostly by it's fans since before you were fiddling with hobbits.

can't you find another coder and share with him your work Aradan? I mean, in this way you can go on with the exams but the progress will be higher.

A mod needs to be active development-wise, not fanbase-wise. Fans can comment and ask all they want, this doesn't make Heg being developed any faster. Fact is, the mod will go through a halt, so knowing that, I'm obliged by the rules to send it to the Morgue.

I wish I could find another coder, but he/she would have to be willing, able and not comitted. Tough combo to get by. I'd throw a party if I did find one though.
