I wonder if more people would think that be a good idea?

Is there not a religious based AOR system already? Could of sworn I read that somewhere,
anyway - I was thinking that it would be a good idea to have an AoR if there wasn't one ^^ -
There's currently no AoR of any kind. AoRs don't do much for me because I prefer using different units when I play a different faction. For me AoRs reduce replayability.
The kind which just restricts the building of your own units only adds an incredibly boring logistical minigame that I'd rather be without. I can appreciate that it makes the game harder but it does it in such a mind numbing way.

The only kind of AoR that really would appeal to me is a simple native and homeland group. I.E. You could only get those fancy long bowmen inside of England, where as if you were to conquer as far as.... Southern Spain you could only get normal peasant archers.
excuse me for the noob question but....Ive always used AoR as short for area of responsibility. What does it mean in DLV context?![]()
Area of Recruitment- for example, if you are playing England - you can only recruit Longbowmen in England.
However, so can other factions who invade, for example if Denmark took over, they could too use Longbows. (I think that is a mercenary AoR system though) - Unsure.
I think DLV has some sort of AOR already, not sure thou...
