I liked Decisive Battles more. Even if it came after Time Commanders.

I loved time commanders! It was a very beefed up, much more complex version of RTW though.

Wow, these guys are really bad RTW players. I was cringing when they sent the cavalry into the spearmen. Who does that??

I've always wanted to know whether the "enemy" in time commanders is controlled by the AI or another human? Anyone know?

I guess it´s a human. If not, the AI would just make nonsense
You just wasted 4 seconds of your life reading this sentence. You'll read it again because it was so funny and waste another 4. And since you read that sentence, some more disappeared, count this sentence and it's 'nother couple. Good job time waster!

...they really need to learn how hstorically inaccurate it is...they should play with EB or RS or something.

Not like you need a human in order to beat the crap out of these guys.

I love this show, but I always felt so horrendously nerdy watching it...I couldn't bring myself to on some occasions.

Dude, this is the only show on tv that ever let people command armies in a game. This show wasn't bad, you can't do an EB game in there, simply because that is too deep for most people. So I recommend you don't watch tv anymore, since most of it is inaccurate.

Really, EB too deep? but i want go watch some guys play total war, instead of playing myself???no!... on topic... He was just a general so he couldnt order the troops personally, making stuff much harder. imagin if u play a battle and you have to watch your friends play and tell them what to do... also, he was playing against those persons on the other computer... i guess he sucked though... simplicity in r:Tw is best, i would just make an easy formation walking towards the city fighting those who appear.

wow great vids those priests were ok but i think i could have done better
Of these facts there cannot be any shadow of doubt: for instance, that civil society was renovated in every part by Christian institutions; that in the strength of that renewal the human race was lifted up to better things-nay, that it was brought back from death to life, and to so excellent a life that nothing more perfect had been known before, or will come to be known in the ages that have yet to be. - Pope Leo XIII

It is very difficult when the commanders are not actually at the screen. Their view is very limited so it makes it very, very difficult for them to effectively command. The enemy, probably controlled by a human opponent, has a much higher chance of winning.
